Here are the Swingometers now for your viewing and experimenting pleasure.
- The House of Representatives Swingometer measures the effects of a swing in the two-party vote from the 2010 House elections.
- The Electoral College Swingometer measures the effects of a swing in the two-party vote from the 2008 Presidential elections.
- The 2010 House of Representatives Swings isn’t adjustable, but rather illustrates the actual swing in the two party vote from 2008 to 2010 in each district.
- The 2010 House of Representatives Swingometer is still posted for historical purposes, giving a chance to replay the 2010 elections and their swing.
The Swingometers use Javascript and SVG, and are only tested so far in Firefox, Safari, Safari Mobile, and Google Chrome. Android 2.x and earlier users may need Firefox. Older versions of MS Internet Explorer probably can’t handle them. Opera might. Blackberry users are sent my condolences. Please feel free to hit the Contact form with bug or success reports.
Here is an article explaining the Swingometers from the perspective of analyzing the 2010 elections.
