The Electoral College Swingometer measures the effects of a swing in the two-party vote from the 2008 Presidential elections.
The Swingometers use Javascript and SVG, and are only tested so far in Firefox, Safari, Safari Mobile, and Google Chrome. Android 2.x and earlier users may need Firefox. Older versions of MS Internet Explorer probably can't handle them. Opera might. Blackberry users are sent my condolences. Please feel free to hit the Contact form with bug or success reports.
Here is an article explaining the Swingometers from the perspective of analyzing the 2010 elections.
Elector counts for the 2012 election are used in the below chart, so a swing of zero will give Democrats fewer Electoral Votes than they received in 2008 despite winning the same states.
Democrats: Republicans:
Set Swing:
Positive for Republicans, Negative for Democrats
