Wyden up big, Dudley no help
By Neil Stevens on August 26, 2010
Previous polling has shown Republican Chris Dudley to be in good shape in the Oregon race for Governor, so I’ve wondered if Democrat Ron Wyden would show weakness in his re-election campaign in the state.
Rasmussen’s latest suggests it is not the case, as Wyden is ahead more than comfortably right now.
There’s just no way to slice a 56-36 (MoE 4) margin for Wyden over Jim Huffman, that gives Huffman any good news at all. Even worse for the Republican, Wyden’s favorability is at 60/35, while Huffman is relatively unknown at 36/30.
Oregon voters appear to like Ron Wyden and it looks like he will be re-elected without difficulty, even if Republicans can manage to elect a Governor in that state.
